Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise By 43 To 165,852 cases rose by 43 to 165852.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 43 new COVID-19 cases, which takes the total confirmed cases in the country to 165,852.

NCDC said the new cases were recorded in 6 states of the federation and FCT.

Giving a breakdown, in a report seen by Gatekeepers News, NCDC said Lagos State recorded the highest cases of the day with 19 infections, followed by Rivers State.

Others are; Kastina-5, Jigawa-3, Kano-1m, Oyo-1.

Gatekeepers News reports that no death was recorded from complications resulting from the virus while 36 persons recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres across the country on Sunday.

Currently, Nigeria has confirmed a total of 165852 COVID-19 cases; 156,456 recoveries and 2067 deaths.
