Eyewitness has revealed how the plane carrying the late Chief Of Army Staff crashed.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Attahiru Ibrahim is dead.
Gatekeepers News gathered that he died in a plane crash in Kaduna, North West, Nigeria.
The Ill-fated plane was said to have crashed at the airport’s runway.
An eye witness told Gatekeepers News that there was “this unusual heavy wind just close to when the aircraft was landing and it flung the aircraft off the runway.”
The incident was said to have occurred at about 6pm while it was raining heavily.
The COAS is the highest ranking military officer of the Nigerian Army often occupied by the most senior commissioned officer appointed by the President of Nigeria.
