Atiku Abubakar has sympathised with President Muhammadu Buhari on the death of the Chief of Army Staff.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has described the loss of Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, and others as a dark day for the nation.
Abubakar through his official Twitter handle, said the deaths send “a rude shock across Nigeria and our friends worldwide.”
Gatekeepers News had reported the COAS alongside ten others died in a plane crash in Kaduna State, Northern Nigeria.
He, therefore, sympathised with the Commander-in-Chief, President Muhammadu Buhari, and the armed forces on this sad development.
Abubakar added that “May the Attahiru family and other affected families be comforted, and their memories be a blessing.”
