The Ijaw Youth Council Leader, Peter Igbifa who was earlier abducted has regained his freedom.
Gatekeepers News reports that President of the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Peter Igbifa has regained his freedom barely 24 hours after his abduction.
It was gathered that Igbifa was helped by a family after he was dropped off in a bush in Opokuma, Kolokuma/Opokuma Council Area before he was given a shirt by the Divisional Police Officer of Kaiama.
The IYC President, however, debunked the speculations that he stage-managed his kidnap after receiving money to call off plans to shut down oil and gas activities in the Niger Delta region if the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission was not inaugurated.
