Covid-19: Nigeria Records 31 New Cases, No Deaths As Infection Hits 166,285
Gatekeepers News reports that the Confirmed cases of Covid-19 has increased to 166,285 as 31 new cases and no deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, 30th of May 2021.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 156,557 cases have been discharged and 2,071 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases are reported from 6 states, with Lagos having the highest with 15 new cases.
In further report from NCDC, Gombe had 5, Akwa Ibom-4, FCT-3,Kaduna-2, Kwara-2.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.
