Imo Governor Meets Traditional Rulers Over Rising Insecurity
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has met with Traditional rulers and Interim Management Committee (IMC) chairmen.

Gatekeepers News reports that Governor Uzodinma on Thursday had a meeting with Traditional rulers and Interim Management Committee (IMC) chairmen over the rising insecurity in the State.

Recently, hoodlums have continued to attack Police officers in the State and burn down Police stations amid other security challenges facing the State and the nation at large.

“We are about to implement the law of setting up security operatives from bottom to top,” Governor Uzodinma said during the meeting.

“We have designed an application form for a local security council, 20 able-bodied men will work and get secure intelligence, and vigilante in their respective communities “

“If you are sure of the character of existing vigilante, you can submit their list.
