Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 48 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in 9 states across the federation.
Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC in its record for Friday, June 4, has it that these states include Lagos, Yobe, Kano, Gombe, Akwa Ibom, Delta, FCT, Kaduna, and Rivers.
Lagos and Yobe were seen with the highest number of infected cases, which is 16 each, while Kano recorded 8.
Gombe had 3 cases while Akwa Ibom, Delta, FCT, Kaduna, and Rivers recorded one respectively.
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 166,730 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 162,584.
Meanwhile, the total number of death remained static at 2,117 as no death case was recorded.
