COVID-19 cases has reached 166,816 in Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 49 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 8 June 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 166,816.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.

Ondo (30), Lagos (15), Kaduna (2), Gombe (1), and Adamawa (1)
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,117 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 163,190 have recovered and have been discharged.
In other news, a total of 1,966,548 persons have received their first jab, while 358,239 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose have collected their 2nd dose.
