Governor of Zamfara state, Bello Matawalle has approved the reinstatement of three commissioners and three board chairmen of state agencies.
Gatekeepers News reports that Governor of Zamfara state, North-West, Nigeria, Bello Matawalle has approved the reinstatement of three commissioners and three board chairmen of state agencies.
Matawalle had on May 31 dissolved his state executive council.
Chairpersons and members of the state commissions and boards of various agencies were relieved of their duties.
The governor had asked the sacked commissioners to hand over to their respective permanent secretaries.
The reinstatement was announced in a statement issued by the state head of service and acting SSG, Kabiru Balarabe.
Balarabe said the reinstated commissioners are, Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Dosara; Commissioner for Finance, Sufyanu Yuguda; and Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Fa’ika Ahmad.
The board chairmen that were reinstated are Abubakar S/Pawa, Chairman of the State’s Pilgrims and Welfare Commission; Abubakar Sodangi, Executive Chairman, Zakat and Endowment Commission, and Muhammad-Dama, Executive Chairman, board of Internal Revenue Service.
