President Muhammadu Buhari says Nigerians will be in position to decide the legacy of his administration in the country.
Gatekeepers News reports that the President stated this while responding to an interview question on ‘The Morning Show’ on ARISE TV.
The president in his response said he hopes Nigerians would be fair to him.
He cited security as one of the indices which Nigerians should use to appraise his stewardship.
He said Nigerians knew the devastating state of the security in the country when he took over as the president, particularly in the Northeast.
He noted that the security situation has become far better and assuring than what it was.
Stating the areas of development, Buhari mentioned that the economy of the nation has also encountered growth and stability, while corruption has been subdued by the government.
“I hope they will be fair to me. I will not decide it myself,” he said.
