COVID-19 Cases Reach 167078 In Nigeria

COVID-19 cases has reached 167,078 in Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 12 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, 14 June 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 167,078.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.

The infections were recorded in just two states: Lagos – 9, and Kwara – 3

Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,117 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 163,469 have recovered and have been discharged.

In other news, a total of 1,978,618 eligible persons have received their first jab, while 662,464 Nigerians vaccinated with 1st dose have collected their 2nd dose.

The National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) made this known in its COVID-19 Vaccination Update for 14 June 2021.
