Gatekeepers News reports that twelfth grade Marilyn Madlion has explored the irony of life in her new book titled Overcoming Her Overdose (OC OD).
Madlion exploration centred around a character, Valerie who suffers severe withdrawal and gluts all her worries on drugs and the walls of her mind.
Valerie in her quest to find freedom found Fernando a boy whose life resembles that of a mafia novel who offers her the literal opportunity of a lifetime, unknowing that not all doors lead to freedom.
OC OD is available on Amazon and Xlibris.
The author, Madlion who was born and currently lives in Nigeria, started writing at the age of 7 and loves to write about relatable emotions that occur in teenage life.
Madlion through her work raises awareness on issues like racism, substance abuse, and obsession.
She would like to study cognitive psychology and continue writing books.
