Gatekeepers News reports that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Immediate-Past President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki are some of the dignitaries who attended the presentation of ‘The Urgency of Now’; why Nigeria needs Vision of Prosperity, Protection, and Liberty – a book authored by Youth Advocate and Author Seun Awogbenle.
Gbajabiamila who spoke at the event through his Special Adviser on Research and Policy, Dubem Moghalu described Awogbenle as a young man who has shown a great sense of direction and is helping chart a course for the Nigerian vision.
Sen. Saraki in his remarks described Awogbenle as a focused, deliberate, knowledgeable young man who has risen from his punditry to coordinating one of the country’s leadership mentorship programmes.
Saraki added that Awogbenle has also demonstrated leadership in his various endeavours.
Other speakers at the event include the Former Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency and former lawmaker, Dakuku Peterside, the Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, Akin Oyebode, Founder/Publisher and CEO of Cable Newspaper, Simon Kolawole, Singer, Actor and politician Bankole Wellington (Banky W) and Humanitarian and Strategist Sally Suleiman.
The event which was anchored by journalist Sulaiman Aledeh also had in attendance Media Adviser to the Speaker House of Representatives Lanre Lasisi, the Former Minister of Youths and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, Former Chairman of Kwara State Inland Revenue Service, Prof. Murtala Awodun, General Manager of the Lagos State Electricity Board, Mukhtaar Tijani and former Media Adviser to the Kano State Governor, Salihu Tanko Yakassai.
