FAAN Fixes MMIA Runway Lights

Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has fixed the runway lights at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that the spokesperson of FAAN, Henrietta Yakubu confirmed the development on Monday.

British Airways (BA) had over the weekend diverted its Lagos-bound flights to Abuja airport Abuja “due to local infrastructure issues.”

“We have fixed all lights…It was fixed the next day,” Yakubu confirmed to reporters on Monday.

“International flights have started landing… everything is fine now.”
