Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 26 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across the federation.
Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC in its record for Thursday, June 24, has it that the cases were recorded in seven states which include Lagos, Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, Kwara, Rivers, FCT and Gombe.
Lagos was seen with the highest number of infected cases, which is 13, while Kaduna recorded 4 and Akwa-Ibom had 3 cases.
In its report, Kwara and Rivers recorded 2 cases each, while FCT and Gombe recorded 1 each.
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 167,401 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 163,933.
Meanwhile, the total number of death remained static at 2,118 as no death case was recorded.
