One student has been shot dead during a protest in Kaduna.
Gatekeepers News reports that security operatives have shot a student dead at Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Northern Nigeria during a protest on Monday.
According to the report, the security operatives were trying to forcefully disperse the students who were protesting the hike in the school fees, and in the process shot one dead.
The State’s Police Spokesman, Mohammed Jalike, when contacted, said he was not aware and promised to find out and revert.
