Nigeria's COVID-19 Cases Rise By 150

Nigeria’s COVID-19 infections rose by 150 on Tuesday, taking the nation’s total confirmed cases to 168,867.

Gatekeepers News reports that the fresh infections were reported in 9 Nigerian States; Lagos-119, Akwa Ibom-11, Rivers-6, Oyo-5, Ekiti-4, Ogun-4, FCT-2, Gombe-2 and Kwara-1.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), in its daily update on coronavirus, noted that “today’s (Tuesday) report includes: Data from Oyo State for 11th July, 2021 and 5 states with zero cases reported: Imo, Kano, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto.”

Gatekeepers News reports that as of July 13, 2021, Nigeria has successfully managed 164,623 cases while 2,125  died of complications.
