Again President Bolsonaro Rushed To Hospital With 'Intestinal Blockage'
Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro who is currently undergoing medical treatment for an obstructed intestine has said he will be ‘back in action soon’.

Gatekeepers News had reported that the 66-year-old president was transferred to Vila Nova Star hospital in Sao Paulo on Wednesday after he endured 10 days of chronic hiccups.

Bolsonaro’s health condition was believed to be a consequence of the 2018 knifing he suffered. He was stabbed in the intestines on the campaign trail and nearly died, the attack required multiple follow-up operations.

In an update on Friday, the Brazilian leader tweeted a stern-faced photo of himself in a hospital corridor with a drip attached to his neck.

“Back in action soon, God willing!” he wrote. “We’ve done a lot, but we still have a lot to do for our Brazil!”

Gatekeepers News reports that Bolsonaro’s doctors in a statement on Thursday said they had removed a gastric catheter from him and that he would begin eating again on Friday.

Eduardo Bolsonaro, the President’s legislator son, disclosed in a video published on Telegram that doctors had removed “close to one litre (a quarter of a gallon) of liquid” from his father’s stomach that was caused by the obstruction, considerably alleviating the pain.

Another son, Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, said his father had been “intubated as a precaution” when he was taken to the hospital in Brasilia.

The President’s doctors have not given hinted on when he will be discharged.
