Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise By 132

Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 132 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across the federation.

Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC in its record for Friday, July 16, has it that the cases were recorded in 6 states.

Lagos was seen with the highest number of infected cases, which is 109, while Rivers recorded 16 and Gombe had 3 cases.

While Katsina had a case of 2, FCT and Nasarawa recorded 1 each.

Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 169,206 confirmed cases.

NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 164,666.

Meanwhile, the total number of death remained static at 2,126 as no death case was recorded.
