NCDC has recorded 216 New COVID-19 cases and one death.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria. recorded 216 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, July 25, 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 171,111.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.
The infections were recorded in Lagos-108, Akwa Ibom-96, Oyo-4, Rivers-3, Edo-2, Ekiti-1, Kano-1, and Osun-1.
According to NCDC, data from Akwa Ibom are 43 for July 24 and 53 for July 25, 2021.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,132 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 164,789 have recovered and have been discharged.
