Court Adjourns Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial

Trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been adjourned till October 21.

Gatekeepers News reports that the adjournment pronounced by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja, the nation’s capital, followed the failure of the Federal Government of Nigeria to produce him in court on Monday as expected.

Kanu is facing charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms, and management of an unlawful society.

He had jumped bail and fled but was arrested and extradited to Nigeria in June to face trial. Kanu is currently in DSS custody.

This is a developing story…
