CBN Stops Forex Sale To Bureau De Change Operators

Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has stopped the sale of foreign exchange to Bureau De Change Operators across the country.

Gatekeepers News reports that the CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele made the disclosure on Tuesday at the end of the monetary policy committee’s meeting in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The apex bank Governor said the BDC operators have become a channel for illegal financial flows, saying they have collided with corrupt people to launder money in Nigeria.
