Usman, brother to the embattled deputy commissioner of police (DCP), Abba Kyari, has deleted all posts, including photos and videos on his Instagram page.
Gatekeepers News reports that Usman deleted all his posts after pictures of his lavish lifestyle began to circulate on the social media platform.
The development comes after popular Nigerian fraudster, Ramon Abbas who is popularly known as Hushpuppi said he bribed Abba to arrest his co-fraudster.
Usman’s brother has been declared wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Gatekeepers News observed that Usman’s page which was filled with photos of himself clad in nicely-fitted classy outfits as well as a collection of several expensive cars, is now empty.
The page had also contained photos of Usman with Abba as well as Usman Alkali Baba, the inspector-general of police (IGP), among others.
“No posts yet. When usmankyari_ posts, you’ll see their photos and videos here,” a terse note on the page read.
Although, Abba has denied Hushpuppi’s allegations, insisting that he did not receive any money as alleged.
The IGP has ordered an internal probe of the allegations against Kyari and has also recommended his suspension from the Service of the Nigeria Police Force, pending the outcome of the ongoing internal investigations.
