Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 173908

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise as 497 new cases were recorded on Saturday.

Gatekeepers News reports that the new cases were recorded in 18 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The NCDC noted that Lagos State reported the highest infections of the day with 211 new cases, followed by Akwa Ibom (80), Kwara (73), Osun (29).

Others include; Oyo (17), Rivers (17), Cross River (15), Edo(14), Anambra (9), Ogun (8), Ekiti (6), Bayelsa (4), FCT(4), Plateau (4), Bauchi (2), Nasarawa (2), Kaduna (1) and Jigawa (1).

Till date, 173,908 cases have been confirmed, 164,994 cases have been discharged and 2,149 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
