Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases continues to rise as 471 new cases were recorded on Sunday.
Gatekeepers News reports that the new cases were recorded in 13 States according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The NCDC noted that Lagos State reported the highest infections of the day with 219 new cases, followed by Akwa Ibom (102), Ondo (37) Oyo (33).
Others include; Kwara (19), Rivers (16), Ekiti (15), Delta (14), Ogun (7), FCT (5), Niger (2), Edo (1), Katsina (1).
Till date, 178,086 cases have been confirmed, 165,763 cases have been discharged and 2,187 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
