COVID-19: NCDC Records 304 New Cases

Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 304 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections across the country.

Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC made this known in its recent filing on Friday, August 20.

Rivers has a higher record of 154 cases, while Ekiti had 33 new cases and Edo 20.

Others include FCT (18), Oyo (17), Cross River (15), Delta (15), Akwa Ibom (13) and Ogun (11).

Also, Bayelsa has a record of 4, Sokoto recorded 2, while Gombe and Nasarawa recorded 1 each.

Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 185,571 confirmed cases.

NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 168,124.

The total number of death increased to be 2,247, revealing that 3 death case was recorded.
