U.S Hands Ex-Cartel Boss Eduardo Félix To Mexican Govt

United States Government has handed over former Tijuana drug cartel boss Eduardo Arellano Félix back to the Mexican Government.

Gatekeepers News reports that Félix who had served most of a 15-year prison sentence was released from federal prison in Pennsylvania, last week.

He had in May 2013, pleaded guilty for money laundering and conspiracy.

The U.S deported him and the 64-year-old was received on Monday by Mexican federal authorities at a border crossing in Matamoros.

Gatekeepers News reports that Félix was one of several brothers who founded the Tijuana-based Arellano Felix cartel that moved hundreds of tons of cocaine and marijuana from Mexico and Colombia into the U.S.
