Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Hit 188880

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases on Wednesday rose to 188,880.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 637 new infections in the day under review.

According to the NCDC, the fresh cases were reported from 19 States; Lagos-322, Rivers-70, Edo-54, Delta-34, Akwa Ibom-31, Kwara-31, FCT-29, Ekiti-17, Ogun-14, Osun-10, Kebbi-8, Cross River-5, Plateau-3, Taraba-3, Kaduna-2, Bayelsa-2, Benue-1, Enugu-1 and Kano-1.

While six States; Gombe, Kano, Nasarawa, Oyo, Sokoto, and Zamfara reported zero case.

Gatekeepers News reports that as of August 25, 2021, Nigeria has successfully managed 169,382 cases while 2,288 deaths have been recorded.
