ISIL Affiliates Claim Kabul Attack

Islamic State in Khorasan Province, ISKP (ISIS-K), an affiliate of ISIL (ISIS) has claimed responsiblity for Thursday’s explosions that occurred at Kabul airport, Afghanistan.

Gatekeepers News reports that the ISIS-K said its suicide bombers singled out “translators and collaborators with the American army”.

About 100 people lost their lives in the two explosions outside Kabul airport, including 13 American soldiers.

United States President, Joe Biden in his reaction to the attack, vowed to retaliate as he confirms that the bombings were carried out by ISIS-K.

“We will hunt you down and make you pay. I will defend our interests in our people with every measure at my command,” he said.

Meanwhile, evacuation has resumed at Kabul airport and the US troops are bracing for more attack as they help afghans who are desperate to get away from the Taliban.
