PDP Chooses Venue For National Convention

Two Senators Resign From PDP

PDP has chosen Abuja as the venue for its National Convention.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced Abuja as the venue of its elective National Convention scheduled for October 30-31.

National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, made the announcement after the 92nd National Executive Committee meeting of the party in Abuja, FCT.

Ologbondiyan announced that the body also resolved to meet on September 9th to ratify appointments into the various committees for the convention.

He said, “NEC has resolved that Abuja will be the venue of the PDP national elective convention slated for Oct. 30″, he said.

“NEC will meet on Sept. 9, to approve the various nominations into the respective national convention committees,” he stressed.

“The NEC urges Nigerians to take a cue from our deliverables in our respective states as a sign of the improvements that our party wishes to deliver when elected in 2023.

“NEC is confident that the PDP has earned the trust of Nigerians once again and our party will do better when given the opportunity to lead the nation.”
