Nigeria at 60 Jubilee Special Award ceremony has been postponed.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Federal Government of Nigeria has postponed the nation’s Jubilee Special Award ceremony earlier scheduled to hold on Sept. 3.
The Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo, disclosed this on Sunday in a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Ifedayo Sayo.
The minister said the Nigeria @ 60 Awards was scheduled as part of jubilee celebrations of the nation’s Independence to honour 60 notable Nigerians that has made immense contributions to the country’s growth.
Adebayo while regretting any inconveniences the postponement might have caused stakeholders and the general public, noted that a new date would be communicated in due course.
The Ownership Subcommittee of the Nigeria @ 60 Committee are the organisers of the special award ceremony.
It is in collaboration with a media and digital communication firm, ‘Say It Loud Limited’, under the chairmanship of the Minister.
