‘Hey Nigeria Tems Is On CLB’ – Drake

Music superstar Drake has announced that Nigeria singer Tems will be on his hotly anticipated album Certified Lover Boy (CLB)

Gatekeepers News reports that, Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi fondly called Tems will be among featured artistes on Drake’s forthcoming highly anticipate album, Certified Lover Boy.

As part of the promotions for his forthcoming album, Drake has been using billboard ads in cities of the featured artist, to advertise the album.

Making the announcement, the Canadian superstar singer Drake, in some billboard adverts in Lagos announced that Tems will feature on the album which will be released on Friday, September 3, 2021.

“Hey Nigeria Tems is on CLB,” the advert reads.

Such billboards have been spotted in Atlanta, USA in reference to hometown artists like 21 Savage and Lil Baby who are featured on the album.

The ad in New York is cryptic; “Hey New York The Goat is on CLB,” the ad reads.

In a similar move, Drizzy as the Canadian singer is fondly called has also placed billboard adverts in cities of other artistes billed to feature on the album.

Tems claims top spot on Billboard Next Big Sound chart

So far, Drake has announced that other international superstar artistes like Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, and Ty Dolla $ign will be part of the album.

Born Temilade Openiyi on June 11, 1995, in Lagos Nigeria, the songstress recorded “Mr Rebel”, a song of her own composition in 2018. She released the single, Try Me, in August 2019.

Her single, Damages, from her For Broken Ears EP became another follow-up hit to Try Me and garnering about 2.7 million views on YouTube.

In 2020, her collaboration with Wizkid on their song “Essence” earned her a number one spot on BBC 1Xtra Airplay Chart and also earned her first career entry on Billboard Hot 100. The song ‘Essence’ is the most played on Shazam.

It has continued to rise in the chart to Top 20 and is currently the number one song on the Billboard R&B chart.

The singer is not stopping at all; she recently revealed that she will be dropping more songs in 2021.
