Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC) has recorded 631 cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infections.
Gatekeepers News reports that NCDC made this known in its recent filing on Friday, August 27.
Lagos has a higher record of 172 cases, while Oyo had 93 new cases and Rivers 72.
Others include Edo (63), Kastina (29), Abia (26), FCT (23), Kano (23), Bayelsa (20), Ogun (20), Ekiti (18) and Anambra (16).
While others are Delta (16), Osun (14), Imo (11),/Benue (6), Enugu (4), Jigawa (2), Niger (2) and Nasarawa (1).
Compilation of the newly infected cases showed that the country has summed up to a total number of 193,644 confirmed cases.
NCDC through its record highlighted that the total number of discharged cases was recorded to be 179,294.
The total number of death increased to be 2,488, revealing that 8 death case was recorded.
