Nigeria Records 299 New COVID-19 Cases

Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 299 new COVID-19 cases, as total infections rose to 200,356.

Gatekeepers News reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure in its daily update on the Coronavirus outbreak.

NCDC said the fresh cases were reported from 16 States; Lagos-94, FCT-30, Oyo-27, Bayelsa-23, Rivers-20, Edo-17, Taraba-17, Kwara-15, Benue-14, Delta-11, Osun-10, Ekiti-9, Gombe-4, Plateau-4,  Kano-2  and Ogun-2.

“Today’s report includes two states with zero cases reported: Nasarawa and Sokoto,” NCDC noted.

Gatekeepers News reports that so far, 188,917  recoveries and 2,640 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria.
