Professor Abass Olajire, a lecturer at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), is dead.
Gatekeepers News reports that the lecturer slumped on Friday during Jummat service at Ansarudeen Mosque at the Oke-Ado area of Ogbomoso in Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria.
Olajire was confirmed dead at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
The deceased joined LAUTECH in 1990 as an assistant lecturer. He was an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan.
Public Relations Officer of the institution, Lekan Fadeyi announced that the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital confirmed that the professor is dead.
“He slumped at the Ansarul Deen Mosque, Stadium Road and was confirmed dead at the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital,” he said.
