Gatekeepers News has emerged as the next rated online news platform of the year at the 2021 Nigeria Media Nite-out Award (NMNA).
The media organisation which rebranded from being Aledeh News to Gatekeepers News on May 22, 2021, was awarded on Sunday, September 19, for its commitment and passion dedicated to the dissemination of information.
Gatekeepers News which was established to eradicate fake news in the online media world has been recognised for reporting factual and detailed information.
Accepting the award at the ceremony held at Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, publisher of Gatekeepers News, Sulaiman Aledeh, commended the organisers of the event for recognition and honour.
Aledeh restated the vision and mission of the organisation, emphasising that it will continue to be the goal. He thanked Nigerians and voters for expressing their support to the fast-growing Gatekeepers News brand and also promised to maintain the qualities that have always made the brand a go-to news outlet for factual reports.
Meanwhile, TVC communication was awarded as the TV station of the year, while Naija FM was awarded as the radio station of the year.
