Gatekeepers News reports that the former governor maintained his commitment following what he described as ‘fake’ information of his defection to a new political movement, Rescue Nigeria Project (RNP).
RNP was said to have been formed by prominent Nigerians who have the intention to ‘rescue’ Nigerians from the leadership of the leading parties, All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Reacting to the news of his defection to the RNP movement, Duke calls on the attention of Nigerians to discard the information he tagged as ‘fake.’
In a chat with Gatekeepers News, the former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2019, he clarified that he is not a part of the plan. He emphatically pledged his support and allegiance to PDP.
Duke said, “While I do not contest the intentions of the conveners of the Rescue Nigeria Project, I wish to state categorically, I am not a part of its formation and at this moment reconfirm I’m a bonafide member of the People’s Democratic Party and a member of its Board of Trustees. Thank you.”
