Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 205047

Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases rose to 205047 on Tuesday as the nation records 295 new infections.

Gatekeepers News reports the fresh cases were reported in 20 States; FCT-81, Gombe-43, Osun-32, Kaduna-25, Rivers-20, Delta-17, Edo-14, Ogun-11, Oyo-9, Plateau-9, Akwa Ibom-7, Bayelsa-7, Zamfara-6, Kano-4, Ondo-3, Abia-2, Nasarawa-2, Benue-1, Ekiti-1 and Niger-1.

This was contained in the data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The Centre for Disease Control also noted that 317 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country, while 6 other persons died of complications.

“Today’s report includes 2 deaths reported from Delta state for September 23rd (1) and 26th (1),” NCDC noted.

Gatekeepers News reports that as of September 28, 2021, Nigeria has successfully managed 193,260 cases since the outbreak of COVID-19, while 2,695 persons lost their lives.
