Nigeria has recorded 141 New COVID-19 cases.
Gatekeepers News reports that Nigeria has recorded 141 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, October 4, 2021, bringing the number of confirmed infections in the country to 206,279.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in its daily report.
In the report, Rivers recorded the highest infections with 33 new cases, Gombe followed with 32 cases, Lagos-29, Imo-25, Plateau-9, Benue-5, Borno-4, Kano-3, and Delta recorded just 1.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,723 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 194,167 have recovered and have been discharged.
