Principal Accountabilities
This role is responsible for:
Being the point person for the Home and Distribution Business Unit for Anglophone West Africa
Adapting global Home and Distribution Business unit objectives and initiatives to the local market
Developing Go-to-Market strategies for the Home and Distribution portfolio across Anglophone West Africa
Supporting and coordinating with Partner Sales team for execution of Go-to-Market strategies
Working closely with the Partner Sales team to achieve top-line financial targets Periodic competitive, market, stakeholder, and business segment analysis and insight
Developing Pricing, positioning, promotion and placement plans of Schneider Home and Distribution offers in the Anglophone West Africa Market
Managing and growing the overall profitability of the Home and Distribution portfolio through effective price and discount management
Take part in Sales, Inventory & Operation Planning (SIOP²) process
Leading the launch process for new Home and Distribution offers for the Anglophone West Africa Market based on market requirement, opportunities or offer gaps
Managing the offer knowledge of the Partner Sales team and Schneider Partners through training
Championing Home and Distribution initiatives to improve stakeholder engagement and channel development
Working with the Partner Sales team and Marketing Communication team to develop external communication plans, schedules and campaigns to target key Home and
Distribution stakeholders
Qualifications & Role Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of 5 years related working experience
Understanding of Marketing and Strategy principles
Product Management/ Marketing experience in an OEM
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a technical and non-technical audience
Prior experience as a project or product owner
Knowledge of Schneider Electric Home and Distribution offers.
2.) Digital Energy – Product Application Engineer (DVC)

Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact for the various Digital Power offers providing operational support for the different stakeholders, internally and externally.
Define the go-to-market strategies by studying the various segments, understating customer needs, analyzing competition and effective price positioning
Responsible for the profitability of the offer, price realization, mix management, marketing communications and promotional campaigns.
Ensure the successful conversion of a bid to an order by working closely with the sales, global marketing teams, factories and project tendering & execution teams
Work closely with the consultant prescription teams to ensure Schneider is an approved/preferred supplier.
Provide technical & commercial support to the sales force & Schneider Electric partners by bringing deep or specific product and application knowledge.
Conduct technical & product offering seminars and trainings for internal & external stakeholders such as partners, consultants, contractors, end users.
Collaborate strongly with the Marcom Team to bring high visibility of the Digital Power Offers in the Market
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Price Management, Proficiency in MS Excel / Powerpoint. and knowledge of various Digital tools would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 – 8 years in at least two of the 4 domains – Metering / Power Quality / Automation / Power Management Software.
Experience in Sales / Business Development or Marketing functions.
Able and confident to present at technical level meetings, seminars/workshops to Consultants, End Users, Facility Managers, etc
