Former United States President, Bill Clinton has been hospitalized.
Gatekeepers News reports that Clinton is receiving medical treatment in California for a “non-Covid-related infection,” according to spokesman Angel Ureña.
Ureña stated that the 75-year-old former American President, who has a history of heart disease, is “on the mend” and “in good spirits” after being admitted to UC Irvine Medical Center on Tuesday.
It is however not clear what led to Clinton’s admission.
Clinton’s doctors in a statement said he had received antibiotics and fluids, noting that he will remain at the hospital for “continuous monitoring”.
“After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count is trending down and he is responding to antibiotics well.”
The doctors at UC Irvine are in contact with Clinton’s medical team in New York, as well as his cardiologist.
Gatekeepers News reports that Clinton has had quadruple bypass surgery and ten years later had a clogged artery opened after complaining of chest pains.
