Famous US rapper and TV personality, Snoop Dogg has lost his mother, Beverly Tate.
Gatekeepers News reports that the rap legend had earlier spoken of his mother’s ailing health in a series of social media posts.
He, however, on Sunday shared a picture of the deceased holding a bouquet of flowers alongside several heartfelt tribute posts.
“Thank u god for giving me an angel 🕊 for a mother 💖🙏🏽🌹💝 TWMA,” he wrote.
According to TMZ, the family confirmed the news of Tate’s death on Sunday and asked for prayers.
Snoop had asked his fans to send “good vibes” while his mother was in the hospital. He later inform his followers that she was “still fighting” and had opened her eyes.
Tate had two other sons with Vernell Varnado, Snoop’s father.
