FIFA Bans Nigerian Coach Remi Amadi

World football –governing body, FIFA has banned Nigerian Coach – Remi Amadi.

Gatekeepers News reports that FIFA has slammed the Coach of Cofine FC of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Remi Amadi a global ban of two years from all football-related activities.

The World football governing body banned Amadi match-fixing.

The world body’s Disciplinary Committee disclosed this decision to the Nigeria Football Federation, and it is a consequence of a similar ban imposed on the gaffer by the NFF Disciplinary Committee at its meeting on August 16, 2021.

In a letter dated August 25, 2021, the NFF Integrity Unit forwarded the said decision of the NFF Disciplinary Committee and all the relevant documentation to the FIFA Disciplinary. The NFF Integrity Unit requested the Committee to extend the sanction to have a worldwide effect, in accordance with Article 66, FIFA Disciplinary Code.

FIFA Disciplinary Committee activated the worldwide effect at its meeting on October 5, 2021.
