Gatekeepers News reports that the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, North Central Nigeria, Abok Ayuba, has been impeached.
The member representing Pengana Constituency in the state assembly, Rt Hon. Yakubu Sanda has been elected as the new Speaker by the members present.
Abok was reportedly impeached following a vote of no confidence by some lawmakers of the assembly.
