Rescue efforts are ongoing at the 21-storey building which collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Deputy Governor of Lagos, Obafemi Hamzat is also on the ground to monitor the process.
Three persons have been rescued alive while many workers are feared trapped in the building which is still under construction.
Emergency responders including officials from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and the Lagos Building Control Agency are currently at the building site.
