JUST IN: Massive Gas Leakage At Ikeja 

There is massive gas leakage from a pipeline in Ikeja, capital of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that residents, especially those in the affected areas; Ikeja Underbridge end of Awolowo Way, Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, and Medical Road, have been advised to refrain from turning on anything inflammable to avoid any fire outbreak.

National Emergency Management Agency (South West) spokesperson, Ibrahim Farinloye urged Lagosians to take safety precautions to prevent any form of disaster.

“Residents around Computer Village, Underbridge Awolowo Way, and Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reasons,” he said.

“Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas.”
