Broadcasters Guild of Nigeria (has announced the new batch of inductees to the Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Gatekeepers News reports that the Broadcasters Guild of Nigeria announced the new batch of inductees to the Broadcasters Hall of Fame via a press statement signed by Ohi Ojo, Chairman, Hall of Fame committee.
The list includes two former Directors General of the FRCN, Dahiru Modibbo and George Bako, founder of Daar Communication, Raymond Dokpesi, and two former Directors General of Voice of Nigeria, Yaya Abubakar and Taiwo Alimi.
Others who made the list are James Audu, Patrick Ityoghe, Yinka Craig, Mike Enahoro John
Chiahemen, Boniface Offorkaja, and Adebayo Faleti.
The Broadcasters Hall of Fame, instituted three years ago, had Victor Badejo, Christopher Kolade, Tom Adaba, Vincent Maduka and Abba Zoro among the first inductees.
Categories under which they were inducted were posthumous, living legends, pioneers, innovators and in recognition of individual contributions to the development and growth of the broadcasting sector in Nigeria.
Others in the list include Inyang Olugu, Raymond Dokpesi, Dahiru Modibbo, Adebayo Faleti, Ikenna Ndaguba, Boniface Offorkaja, Mike Enahoro, Halilu Getso, Yemi Faounbi, Patrick Ityohghe, Ben Egbuna, George Bako, James Audu, Taiwo Alimi, Yaya Abubakar, Lawrence Emeka, John Chiahemen, Larry Izamoje, and Yinka Craig.
