Gunmen Kill Retired Air Vice-Marshal In Kaduna

Gunmen have killed a retired Air Vice-Marshal, Muhammad Maisaka in Kaduna, North-Western Nigeria.

Gatekeepers News reports that a retired Air Vice-Marshal, Muhammad Maisaka, and his grandchild have been killed by gunmen at their residence in Ragasi, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna on Tuesday.

The State Police Command’s Spokesman, Muhammad Jalige confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday, in Kaduna.

Jalige while confirming that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, said Maisaka’s gateman also sustained injuries from the attack.

According to the Spokesman, the Commissioner of Police, Mudassiru Abdullah immediately directed the Divisional Police Officer and the Area Commander to the scene after receiving the information.

He said, “The corpse has been evacuated to the hospital and the gateman has also been rushed to the hospital for treatment,” adding that other details of the incident would be made available soon.

The Police Spokesman also appealed to Kaduna residents to come forward with useful and timely information that could lead to the arrest of the culprits.
