American rapper and fashion designer, Kanye West has called for a truce with his rival, Drake.
Gatekeepers News reports that Kanye West, who is now officially known as Ye, reached out to Drake in a bid to end the ongoing feud between them.
According to Ye, he has invited Drake to appear “as a special guest” at a previously unannounced gig in Los Angeles on December 7.
The 44-year-old made a video of him asking Drake, 35, to “put their difference to rest” and stop their war of words.
Kanye West was seen reading notes from his phone in a video shared on J Prince’s Instagram page on Monday night.
In his words: “This is Ye and J. Prince. I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest.
“I’m asking Drake on December 7 to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year, live in Los Angeles, with the ultimate purpose to free Larry Hoover.”
He continued: “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”
Gatekeepers News reports that the duo have been at loggerhead for years and their feud intensified this year when they released their record-breaking albums in which they dissed each other.
