Job Title: Medical Record Officer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Keeping records of care cards in the different LGAs supported by the Zone.
2. Keeping a documented track of folder flow in and out of the Medical Records Office.
3. Taking records of all PME tools that come into the OSS from logistics.
4. Filing of viral Load results into the patients’ folders.
5. Ensure that folders of clients due for refill are sorted and sent to the nurse/clinic.
6. Ensure that folders of LTFU clients are sorted and given to the peer navigators for tracking.
7. Filing of clients’ folders serially and by LGAs.
8. Taking record of all newly enrolled clients (Tx_New).
9. Taking Records of all clients currently on treatment (Tx_Curr.)
10. Keeping records of all dead, transferred out, stopped treatment clients.
11. Filling/ support in filling of Care and Treatment Registers for all LGAs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. A degree or diploma in social sciences, development, or a related field
2. Experience Comprehensive HIV/TB Prevention, Care, and Treatment data capturing and reporting.
3. Ability to adapt to changes and fast learner
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet up reporting deadlines
5. Excellent team-building skills, interpersonal / communication skills – both oral and written
6. Proficient in MS- Office: MS Word MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
7. Passionate and committed to working with vulnerable and marginalized groups

Job Title: Laboratory Support Staff
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Laboratory Team to provide laboratory oversight in HALG site and adherence to standard laboratory protocols in the country program.
2. Assist the Laboratory Team to ensure the quality of laboratory services is maintained at all HALG supported sites/centers within your jurisdiction.
3. Performs basic laboratory assays CD4 tests, Hematology and Chemistry as well as other tests as required.
4. Oversees laboratory services provision, ensures standard, and current practices are in place for maintaining high-quality laboratory services and maximizing the use of all resources.
5. Ensures compliance and implementation of laboratory protocols, and support other affiliated labs staff – Community Facilitators, Counsellor testers, Outreach Coordinators, and Medics involved with the lab function;
6. Performs quality control checks and maintenance for the machine in the site lab, and other laboratory tests performed within the labs.
7. Participates in inventory control management/CRRF preparation for laboratory supplies and reagents for the supported site;
8. Participate in EQA, proficiency testing activities.
9. Performs other care, treatment, and evaluation duties as assigned by the laboratory Team Lead or designee.
REQUIREMENTS
1. A bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science from an accredited university or higher qualification
2. Valid Permit/License to practice as Medical Laboratory Scientist is mandatory.
3. Minimum of Two (2) years of successful laboratory management experience and ability to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the current principles and techniques surrounding the management of laboratory services
4. Experience in running/implementing public health programs preferably in the NGO context.
5. Familiarity with standards and federal/state regulations affecting the laboratory and laboratory practices within an OSS and Field Locations.
6. Very good understanding and working knowledge of the health and HIV program priorities.

Job Title: Retention Officer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide psychosocial and continuous support as well as treatment preparation to clients in the OSS.
2. Provide counselling services including risk-reduction counseling, harm reduction counseling, post-GBV counseling, or contraceptive/family planning and sexual reproductive health counseling as required
3. Identify and address challenges/barriers to adherence
4. Organize and facilitate support group sessions for HIV infected and affected clients including groups with special needs e.g. discordant couples, youth/adolescent, and children
5. Address aspects of behavior change communication in relation to HIV and ART
6. Support clients to voluntarily disclose their HIV status
7. Facilitate the delivery of relevant information to clients enrolled in OSS
8. Participate in-home visits as appropriate to execute a plan of care for clients
9. Ensure client records are well maintained and compile periodic reports as necessary.
10. Ensure proper referral of clients where necessary including following up and reporting on the outcomes, as necessary.
11. Coordinates patient tracking activities supported by the community Case Managers including documentation and reporting of defaulter tracing activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Degree in Social Sciences, Health Education, Public Health, or a relevant field.
2. At least one year of experience working in medical case management or as a medical social worker.
3. Familiarity with health systems and HIV community programs including Key Population
4. Experience working with HIV/AIDS and anti-retroviral treatments required.
5. Knowledgeable of HIV information and able to communicate expertise to HIV-positive patients.
6. Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities
7. Experience in coordinating HIV/AIDS program implementation.
8. Strong supervisory and management skills.
9. KP Experience will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Gender Focal Person
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Act as Focal person for gender integration and reporting at the Zonal level
2. Monitor collations and documentation of gender data in the zone and support necessary follow-ups.
3. Support the review of reporting documents at the zonal level and follow-up data with the SI unit.
4. Ensure all concerned persons have access to necessary capacity-building sessions on gender and gender norms at the Zonal level.
5. Map KPs sensitive safe homes/ shelter in your state for social welfare
6. Support the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) awareness activities and service uptake at the zonal level and linkage with SRH partners.
7. Contribute to sharing of knowledge and promoting relevant good practices as well as sharing information messages on gender and GBV with all colleagues.
8. Help colleagues identify processes and contacts to strengthen links with gender-related documents and expertise.
9. Encourage inclusion of gender-specific objectives, outcomes and indicators, and activities on zonal work plans and budget
10. Support the process of documenting gender mainstreaming challenges and lessons learnt.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Social work, Gender studies, Law, and medical-related field
2. At least one-year experience in public health and GBV management
3. Understanding of Gender and Gender dynamics
4. Moderate experience working with Key Populations required.
5. Excellent skills in report writing, success stories collations, and tracking of program activities.

Job Title: Community Mental Health Professional
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide community psychosocial support (PSS) services to key populations (KPs) and
support the OSS with MHPSS screening and brief interventions as the need arises.
2. Identify KPs in the community that requires MHPSS services using a structured Community Link intervention model.
3. Offer PSS services to KPs with significant psychosocial distress signs and refer, if need be for specialized mental health (MH) interventions.
4. Offer PSS services to KPs who report or have recent experience of Gender-based Violence (GBV) as well as KPs with legal concerns that cause psychological distress.
5. Ensure that KPs who are exposed to GBV and other risky behaviours are offered and linked to HTS as well as other HALG services (PeP, Cervical Cancer Screening, Harm Reduction service) and properly document the number of HIV positive cases linked to care.
6. Document and protect participant’s records and ensure that all referred participants are properly linked to required services and followed up to ensure that they receive adequate care.
7. Participate in weekly outreach efforts to raise community awareness of mental health and other health risks that can result in psychological distress including facilitating support groups.
8. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or line managers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Must at a minimum have a tertiary educational degree in (psychology, social work, psychiatric nursing/rehabilitation, rehabilitation sciences, guidance, and counseling or other mental health affiliate degree).
2. Should have at least one year of experience providing direct services to individuals with psychological distress or has a minimum of 90 hours of classroom training and experience working under the direct supervision of a qualified/licensed mental health professional.
3. Must be resident in the area of coverage and have good networking in the community of coverage.
4. Speaks Basic English and as an added advantage, understands the language of the area of cover.
